No New Swing Shorts For Friday As The Market Keeps Hitting All-Time Highs With NO Pullbacks To Speak Of

I don’t know how many times I can say the same thing over and over.

If this was a bear market, WB would make a good short here. Read the rest of this entry »

No New Swing Shorts For Thursday As The Market Is In A Powerful Uptrend Which A Selloff In China Can Not Even Stop

There are no new swing shorts and there were no shorts in my scan that would make good shorts if this was a bear market.

Only the “geniuses” are shorting here. And these morons have been doing this all year long. It is the wrong play and only the amateurs play this game. The greatest traders of all-time NEVER shorted a rising market. And you better believe you shouldn’t either.

No New Swing Shorts For Tuesday

There were no shorts in my scan today that would make good shorts in a bear market.

The market is still in a solid uptrend and shorting this market is simply the wrong and higher risk lower reward play. Top callers are still making a mistake here as the market really has given no indication that it is in any mood to turn lower.

The Nasdaq does have six distribution days. But with the index still above the 50 dma and the overall trend still up, it is just silly to short this market. The big money is made on the long side right now.

Don’t believe me? How much are the top 10 shorts up and how much are the top 10 longs up since the February 27th selloff? If you don’t have the software to scan the market, you can trust me when I say the longs are killing the shorts.

Don’t fight the trend!

No New Swing Shorts For Friday

This market is now starting to show real signs of cracking with the Nasdaq having 6 distribution days in the past four weeks but the market is still in an uptrend so shorting here is still not the right play. The best time to short is MONTHS AFTER A TOP. This is history. THIS IS NOT MY OPINION.

If this was a bear market, GGG ADM SPLS KMX TZOO would all make good shorts. Read the rest of this entry »

No New Swing Shorts For Thursday

The market is showing signs of cracking but that is no reason to rush to short a market that doesn’t want to seem to ever stay down. When it is time to short, trust me, I will be shorting. Now is not the time. We need a real downtrend, the indexes below the 50 dma, and more than 4 clear days of distribution. We do not have this yet.

If this was a bear market, PNW and CTSH would make good shorts. Read the rest of this entry »

No new swing shorts for Wednesday as the market is in one spectacular, yet exhausting, uptrend.

No New Swing Shorts For Tuesday

The market is still in a very strong uptrend and now breadth seems to be catching back up so shorting is still the losing game here.

If this was a bear market, NVS would make a great short. Read the rest of this entry »

No New Swing Shorts For Monday

The market is still moving higher and there are still a lot more stocks moving higher than stocks moving lower. Though negative divergences are showing up in breadth and new highs, until the market rolls over, it is nothing to act on. Price determines everything and prices are moving higher.

If this was a bear market, FTBK would make a good short. Read the rest of this entry »

No New Swing Shorts For Friday As The Market Has NO Interest Of Moving Lower

The market still has NO interest in moving down, no matter how many technical indicators say that we should. Shorting this market is a fools game and I do not recommend trying to be a hero.

If this was a bear market, VTR would make a good short.
