HMIT Hidalgo Mining! up 70% and still going!

January 10, 2008 - 4:35 PM EST

Hidalgo Mining (HMIT) Completes Purchase of Goldfield Alaskan 50-Ton per Hour Production Plant

Hidalgo Mining International (PINKSHEETS: HMIT), an innovative mining company headquartered in Port Washington, NY, announced today the purchase of the mining equipment necessary to begin production in West Africa.

Mark Daniel Klok, President of HMIT, stated: "Mining equipment and a 50-yard per hour Goldfield series wash plant (www.goldfieldeng.com/alaskan.html) have been purchased to begin bulk sampling in the form of pre-production on the Guinea property. The company has transported the plant to North Carolina where it's being prepared for shipment to the Guinea property next week. There are several potential alluvial mining blocks that are expected to have grades ranging from 1 - 8 grams per yard, based upon previous testing and sampling. With the price of Gold today above $US 875 per ounce, that comes out to over $US 28 per gram. This would mean that if the plant were to run at full capacity, the gross income would be approximately $400,000 at one gram per yard and $US 3,200,000 per month at eight grams per yard. The purpose of this first phase is to help quantify what grade production should yield consistently and to help quantify and determine the next phase of larger scale production.

We have already employed 25 local laborers and two local geologists to begin excavating a 10 x 10 meter test pit in a high-grade area to prepare our starting location for when the wash plant arrives. In addition, we have begun the construction of 5 houses for our key employees on location; this area will be the base camp of operations for HMIT on the property."

The company's goal is to begin at this 50-yard per hour level and then increase to 250-tons per hour once consistent production is established and an average grade is determined by the phase one efforts.

Mark Klok went on to state, "I'm very excited to begin production and look for 2008 to be a fantastic year for HMIT and our shareholders."

ABOUT HIDALGO MINING INTERNATIONAL

Hidalgo Mining International (PINKSHEETS: HMIT), an innovative mining company located in Port Washington, NY, strives to increase its shareholders while implementing an aggressive rollup plan to achieve mining production on a global scale. HMIT's management and directors feel they have the vision, drive and experience to become a highly successful, major multi-national producing mining company.

Disclaimer:

The described potential acquisition cannot be guaranteed. The acquisition of AIM by HMIT is contingent upon multiple criteria that must be approved by both organizations as well as governing agencies.
Hemis Announces Additional El Tigre Drill Results

LAS VEGAS, Aug 14, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Hemis Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: HMSO; Frankfurt: XZA) is an international resource company with three exploration properties in Mexico and one project in Alaska. Hemis' Santa Rita property in Mexico has an Earn-In Agreement with GoldCorp Inc. (NYSE: GG; TSX: G) through GoldCorp's Mexican subsidiary, Glamis Exploration.

Hemis is pleased to announce additional assay results from the drilling program on its El Tigre gold exploration project in eastern Sonora, Mexico. The initial phase of diamond drilling was recently completed on this project and new assay results have been received for drill holes ELT-002 to ELT-005. The results for ELT-001 have already been reported.

    Significant Drill Results -

Interval Width Grade - Grade - Grade - Grade -
                              Au Ag Mo Cu

    ELT-001 -
      16 to 32
       meters 16 meters 0.033%
      42 to 70
        meters 28 meters 0.758 gr/T 5.92 gr/T

    ELT-002 -

    ELT-003 -
      32 to 34
       meters 2 meters 3.090 gr/T 5.20 gr/T 0.061%

    ELT-004 -
      36 to 44
       meters 8 meters 1.090 gr/T
      52 to 58
        meters 6 meters 1.095 gr/T 8.10 gr/T 0.063%

    ELT-005 -
      22 to 54 32 meters 0.739 gr/T 6.07 gr/T 0.264%

Holes ELT-001 to ELT-005 were drilled within the El Tigre Monument breccia zone at an angle of -60 degrees. All of the holes were successful in intersecting the breccia. The core was cut, logged and photographed before sending samples to the ALS Chemex facility in Hermosillo, Mexico.

Hole ELT-005 represented a departure from previous holes in that copper mineralization was intersected. Veins of native copper were found in the oxidized portions of the hole. "We may need to start thinking of El Tigre as a poly-metallic project rather than a strictly gold target," remarked project manager William Snoddy. "In addition to gold and silver, we have seen molybdenum, copper, lead, zinc and tungsten mineralization across the concessions."

Dr. Douglas Oliver, the chief geologist for Hemis Corporation, remarks that the initial drilling of the El Tigre Monument breccia zone has met all of its objectives. "We wanted to get a handle of the dimensions of the breccia and determine if the anomalous gold values seen at the surface continue at depth. All of our holes hit gold mineralization throughout the breccia, even ELT-002. Four of the five holes hit potentially economic quantities of gold and silver. The presence of copper and molybdenum was a bonus we weren't expecting."

Results are still pending for drill holes ELT-006 and ELT-007 that tested the Main Pit breccia zone. Hole ELT-008 that tested the Eastern High breccia is also outstanding. Ongoing work at El Tigre is focused on expanding the surface sampling and mapping, and integrating the drill with the surface data to plan the next round of drilling. "El Tigre is proving to be more complicated that we initially thought," Dr. Oliver stated. "But it's complicated in a good way."

The following is not a recommendation to buy. While it looks very promising any information on the company financial structure is hard to come by for this Australian company.
.

Historic Australian goldfield reopens

Hill End is in north central New South Wales near Bathurst where Australia’s first recorded gold find was made, and while the Hill End mines outlived Bathurst they have had scant attention in the past three decades – until now!
Author: Ross Louthean
Posted: Tuesday , 19 Jun 2007

PERTH -

Hill End Gold Ltd has achieved the objective it sought when listing on the Australian Stock Exchange five years ago - it announced today that it has begun mining at Hill End.

With few new gold operations appearing in Australia, news that a start has been made on some unmined and lightly touched sections of the historic workings at Hill End will be a feather in NSW's mining cap. There have been few gold mining advances in the state since Newcrest Mining Ltd began opening its big Cadia and Ridgeway mines in the early 1990s.

First focus for the company is the high grade Reward area being tapped by mining contractor Mancala by driving north of the Amalgamated level from the famous old Hawkins Hill workings.

Hill End Gold's managing director, Philip Bruce, said the drive will be developed through the Phillipson's high-grade zone and to below the higher grade Paxton's zone, by October. Bulk sampling and processing of development material will begin in the September quarter and sampling of Paxton's is scheduled by the year's end.

The gold plant at Hill End is being modified to improve gold recovery under the mill operating company Timora Group.

Reward has a resource of 124,000 tonnes grading 19 grams/tonne, while the Paxton's now has a resource of 23,000t @ 48 g/t.

About 1,300t will be extracted from Paxton's for processing through the gravity recovery plant, and the Phillipson's and Steven's zones will be "check sampled." Recently Philip Bruce told Mineweb that once these unmined zones are opened up the company will get a clearer picture of the future potential.

The old Hill End mines, 60 kilometres north west of Bathurst had recorded production of about 1.5 million ounces, and this included 400,000 oz taken from high grade zones at Hawkins Hill.

Hill End Gold owns 85% of the central area, taking in Hawkins Hill, and 100% of the remaining area. The original Hawkins Hill operators mined a mulptiple-lode high grade gold deposit with a 400 metres strike and 200m in depth.

The company said the new Reward zone is interpreted to be a geological repeat of Hawkins Hill. The leases extend for about 35 km, and the company expects to identify more high grade resources.
