This company's shares have been trading between $1.50 - 1.70 for many months until they recently announced they were preparing to buy back over 8 MM shares of the about 19 MM shares OS using a "Modified Dutch Auction" between the price of $2.25 - 2.50. The shares shot up and have recently traded as high as $2.60. The company has cash of about $60MM which is over $3.00/share.
My questions are:
1) What is a Dutch Auction?
2) Would you sell your shares if your cost was $2.50?
I own 1000 shares at $2.50.
Any advice would be appreciated.
