Delta Mining and Exploration Corporate Update

LEWISBURG, Ky., April 30, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- After receiving positive results from Apex GeoScience LTD this past winter, management for Delta Mining and Exploration (OTC: DMXP) has concluded that the best way for the company to move forward and attract outside investment and joint venture capital is to authorize a share restructuring program. Therefore, the Board of Directors has a passed a resolution authorizing a reverse split of the shares of the Company's capital common stock issued and outstanding on a one (1) share for one hundred (100) shares basis.

As part of the process, the company has amended its Certificate of Incorporation with the State of Nevada and has applied for a new ticker symbol and Cussip number. Notification has been received that the new symbol and share structure will be effective on or around May 4, 2007.

Once the new symbol is issued Delta will make an immediate announcement. This is all done electronically and investors currently holding an equity position in the company will see the new symbol on their accounts without having to do anything.

There were many reasons for this reverse. The most obvious is that the company has a bright future and wants to further conduct exploration on the Homestead and other properties. To do so, it needs to either raise money or partner up with groups who would be willing to take on part or all of the cost. The problem that the company ran into was that it became increasingly difficult to move forward with the current share structure.

According to Delta CEO, Brett Rodli, "The decision to initiate the reverse-split of the stock needed to be taken to better position the company for the future. The 'cost' of not reversing the stock could have a greater impact for negotiating future financial and/or partnering agreements. We are anxious to complete the reverse and pursue further exploration of our properties."

So Mr. Rodli, along with the Board of Directors decided that now is the best time to file the necessary paperwork for the reverse and to take advantage of the positive results it has received.

Once the share price is reflected by the reverse and the new share structure is in place, management will once again aggressively pursue financing and/or a joint partnership in order to complete the major bulk sampling that has been recommended.

About Delta Mining and Exploration, Corp: http://www.deltamine.com: Delta is a mineral exploration company with an extensive portfolio of diamond properties in Montana, USA and in Bolivia, South America. Delta controls some 7500 acres throughout Montana located within the Wyoming Craton where much of North America's diamonds have been found.

from last PR, very interesting

SEDRO WOOLLEY, Wash., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Doll Technology, a manufacturer and seller of environmentally safe products, has streamlined its products to segment them by markets to increase the focus on sales into the various markets. The groupings are fire products, water products, coatings and cleaners.

Fire products are headed by a Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) approved fire testing lab. The lab is currently being updated to new FAA regulations and is expected that certification will be complete in July 2006. Also Doll Technology manufactures portable firefighting units called Fire Caddies that are intended for use to contain fires until the fire department arrives on the scene. These have excellent application for rural homes and for first responder applications. Doll has a licensing agreement to manufacture a new environmentally safe fire suppressant, Blaze Tamer, developed in Australia, with plans to sell in North America. This product is extremely effective and substantially reduces cleanup costs over traditional fire retardant products.

This line of products addressing fire suppression is expected to generate revenues in excess of $2,000,000 during the 2006/7 fiscal year.
The water product is Aquaboost, which is an environmentally safe water enhancer that promotes water conservation in agricultural and residential applications. Its use provides for healthier vegetation growth and a 30% reduction in the cost of watering. Aquaboost is expected to provide revenues in excess of $3,000,000 during the 2006/7 fiscal year.
Doll Technology coating products are unique in that they were designed to deal with specific problems not effectively dealt with by currently available products. Doll Technology has a licensing agreement to market and sell these products to the transportation industry. Enamo Grip, which is an extremely durable coating, resists aggressive chemicals and the erosion effects caused by extreme environmental conditions. A roof coating, Supertherm, reflects radiant heat in large industrial buildings and reduces cooling costs by up to 30%. Corrosion containment is a costly issue in transportation and Doll's Rust Grip coating provides excellent protection for aircraft and marine vessels. This product group is expected to provide revenues of over $1,000,000 during the 2006/7 fiscal year.

New to North America are a group of environmentally friendly cleaners manufactured and marketed by Doll Technology under a licensing agreement with AB Technologies of Holland. These cleaners are unique in their excellent effectiveness and low impact on the environment. The line includes an aircraft paint remover, a leather seat cleaner that is particularly effective on ink stains, a degreaser and a car paint remover. All of these products are non toxic and require no special hazardous waste handling after use. This product line is expected to generate revenues in excess of $1,000,000 during the next fiscal year.
"The revised product focus combined with efforts to reduce fixed costs by 20% are expected to improve the profitability of the company moving forward," says Bruce MacCoubrey President and C.O.O.

UAW Says Delphi Has Made Its Latest Proposal for Wage, Benefit Cuts

DETROIT (AP) -- Delphi Corp. has delivered its latest proposal for cuts in wages and benefits to the United Auto Workers, which represents the majority of the auto-parts supplier's 34,000 hourly workers, the union said.
UAW spokesman Paul Krell said Monday the union had received the proposal, but he declined to comment on details.

Delphi spokesman Lindsey Williams would not confirm that a new proposal had been completed.

Under the latest offer, Delphi's hourly workers, who currently are paid $27 per hour, would see their wages initially cut to $22 per hour and then fall gradually to about $16 per hour, sources familiar with the proposal told The Detroit News.

Delphi, which filed for bankruptcy protection in October, says its expensive U.S. labor agreements make it impossible to compete in a global economy. Delphi wants to cut its wage and benefit rates and has set a deadline of Thursday to reach an agreement with former parent General Motors Corp., the UAW and other unions.

If no agreement is reached, Delphi could ask a bankruptcy judge to cancel its union contracts, an action that could lead to a devastating strike.

GM spokesman Jerry Dubrowski declined to comment.

Last week, in one of the largest buyout programs ever, more than 125,000 hourly GM and Delphi workers were offered up to $140,000 to give up their jobs to help cut the companies' labor costs.

Under that plan, Delphi said up to 17,000 workers could be eligible for a $35,000 payment to retire. Also, up to 5,000 Delphi workers will be eligible to return to GM under the deal.

Troy-based Delphi first threatened in December to ask a bankruptcy court to reject its union contracts, but the company three times has delayed a filing that would ask to cancel those contracts.

The UAW has threatened to strike if a judge approves Delphi's request to void its contracts.
