Hi everyone, I have a few months left in my company before I retire …. and I would like to know about the options that I can consider for my retirement plan. I am taking about some real good investments so that I get my future secured (want it secured for the kids too). I have a few options that I can look up to like REI, mutual funds and stocks…..but need a bit of advice from you to make a better decision.
Find a good financial planner who does not get paid by commissions. Make sure your assets are diversified because anything can happen in the markets. Don't put all your assets in one basket. Make sure you understand what you are investing into. Don't take advise without doing the homework to reach your comfort zone. Good Luck!
Stock, Mutual fund and Real estate - all are good investment options. If you are looking for a long term investment, I would suggest to go for real estate. However, it would be better to take advice from experts before investment.
