Axis announced their entry to the Alabama region through General Machinery in February. General Machinery is a member of the Association for High Technology Distribution (AHTD) and provides source supplies and solutions through air, automation, electrical, pump and service divisions. General Machinery is currently presenting the Axis ballast to schools, hospitals and government installations including military bases and NASA.

"We are very happy to see the Axis ballast is being well received by General Machinery's customer base throughout Alabama" said Kip Hirschbach, CEO of Axis Technologies, Inc. "We are pleased with their efforts and expect them to generate additional sales of Axis ballasts as the word about our unique product spreads through the region." he added.

About General Machinery Company, Inc.

General Machinery Company, Inc. (www.generalmachinery.com) has been the industry's leading single source supplier in Alabama since 1908. They have four branch offices and warehouses in Birmingham, Madison, Mobile, and Montgomery; specializing in electrical components and systems. Their staff includes systems design and applications experts as well as factory trained service teams on call 24 hours a day. About Axis Technologies Group, Inc.

Axis Technologies Group, Inc. conducts its business through a wholly owned subsidiary, Axis Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska. Axis Technologies, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets a proprietary line of energy-saving and daylight harvesting electronic dimming ballasts for the commercial lighting industry. The company's target market is small to large commercial users of fluorescent lighting including office buildings, wholesale and retail buildings, hospitals, schools, and government buildings. In 2002, Underwriters Laboratory (UL) approved Axis products for sale in both the United States and Canada. The Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting (DDH) ballast is priced competitively and is the only daylight harvesting ballast system that can be marketed as a replacement for a standard ballast.

About the Axis DDH Ballast

A "ballast" is an electronic component that regulates voltage in fluorescent lighting. Axis Technologies Group, Inc. has developed an innovative new ballast with the aim of expanding daylight harvesting into mainstream fluorescent lighting applications. The patented Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting Ballast is a new technology that transforms the ballast, a once standard lighting industry staple, into a dynamic energy saving system that can reduce lighting energy costs by up to 70%. The Axis DDH Ballast utilizes an individual photo sensor to automatically adjust the amount of electrical current flowing to the light fixture, and then dims or increases lighting in conjunction with the amount of available sunlight that may be harvested from available windows and sunlight. The Axis DDH Ballast avoids "over-lit" conditions that increase energy costs by keeping lighting "tuned" to the desired level in a designated area.

Axis Technologies Inc. Exhibits at Northeast Buildings & Facilities Management Show
Thursday April 26, 9:01 am ET
Institutional Leads Generated for Company's Distribution Network

LINCOLN, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Axis Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets:AXTG - News) representatives recently returned from demonstrating the company's energy saving, daylight harvesting and dimming ballasts at the Northeast Buildings & Facilities Management Show (NBFM) in Boston, MA, April 4 & 5, 2007. The NBFM show was sponsored by the International Facility Management Association and was attended by thousands of building owners, facility managers and other decision makers, all of whom want their buildings to embrace the latest in "green" technology. The show provided a great venue to educate building owners and managers on the effects of daylight harvesting on energy reduction and the economic benefits derived, while helping the environment.

A number of qualified leads were gleaned from attendees who viewed the demonstration of the Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting (DDH) ballast. The leads were turned over to the Axis rep in the Boston area, who has indicated that several of these contacts will soon be leading to ballast sales.

"Surprisingly, a large number of the leads came from the institutional market such as schools and hospitals," said Gary Boe, National Sales Manager for Axis, and one of the presenters at the show. "Axis already has a number of school systems scheduled for retro-fitting this summer, and the leads generated by this show should enhance that number", added Boe.
