Axis announced their entry to the Alabama region through General Machinery in February. General Machinery is a member of the Association for High Technology Distribution (AHTD) and provides source supplies and solutions through air, automation, electrical, pump and service divisions. (Pink Sheets:AXTG - News) announced today that on April 4, 2007 the company received an initial purchase order for lighting fixture manufacturer H.E. Williams. The purchase order was written by Lighthouse Lighting and Electrical Representatives, Inc., a manufacturer's representative firm that joined the Axis national sales team in late 2006.
H.E. Williams is a lighting fixture manufacturer that designs, develops and manufactures luminaires for a variety of applications. H.E. Williams fluorescent fixtures are utilized by schools, offices, hospitals, retail establishments, warehouse and industrial facilities.

Duray Fluorescent designs and markets lighting fixtures incorporate the latest ballast, lamp, reflector and louver advances into their products. (Pink Sheets:AXTG - News) representatives recently returned from demonstrating the company's energy saving, daylight harvesting and dimming ballasts at the Northeast Buildings & Facilities Management Show (NBFM) in Boston, MA, April 4 & 5, 2007. The NBFM show was sponsored by the International Facility Management Association and was attended by thousands of building owners, facility managers and other decision makers, all of whom want their buildings to embrace the latest in "green" technology. The show provided a great venue to educate building owners and managers on the effects of daylight harvesting on energy reduction and the economic benefits derived, while helping the environment.
