Nickel still on upswing. Should close above $18 today. Possible strike at site previously owned by Falconridge which produces 4% of world supply helping to drive the price. Good luck to all holders of Ni producers.

Nickel closed above $18.20 today. The threatened strike at the ex Falconridge mine was settled, however LME inventories of Nickel continue to drop!

Looks like Nickel is staying strong and will close near $20.20/lb today. Demand for stainless steels seems to remain strong.

Nickel closed near $21/lb today. This metal appears to be outpacing other metals this year.

I believe that Lionore is the largest nickel producer in the world.  It trades on the Canadian exchange at about $16.00 Canadian.  Symbol...LIM

Also mentioned in my previous posts FNX, FNI, CXX. I own FNI for disclosure. This is a company that recently started production and I think has a good future. Do your own DD.

Nickel tops $22/Lb today! It is also pushing up the price of Moly which may be substituted in some steels.

Nickel prices topped $23/Lb in early trading today as supplies remain tight and demand is strong. Good news for all Nickel producing/ exploring stock holders!!

Nickel has backtracked to near $20/lb today as all metals continue the pullback. I am still bullish on Nickel and all other metals incl. uranium going forward, once this correction plays out. The metals seem to react to reported LME inventories but these inventories don't tell the whole story as they only account for a fraction of worldwide inventories. I wonder who actually compiles other inventories; e.g. at producers and end users facilities?
