Built on several years of wisdom, experience, and sobriety, the Let’s Talk Recovery Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization set forth with three primary objectives:
1. To support recovery-related media including the Let’s Talk Recovery radio program, Steps in Recovery Magazine, as well as other newspapers, radio, television and internet outlets that offer ongoing assistance and information to the community at large.

2. To target and fund leading recovery centers in need of support, thereby facilitating the continuation of effective programs, residences, and overall sobriety.

3. To direct recovery program scholarships to individuals exhibiting financial need. Scholarship recipients will only be directed to those programs that meet the full approval of the Foundation’s Advisory Board.

What's the point in investing in a not for profit? besides of course the warm fuzzy feeling you get on the inside...

I'll take the warm fuzzy feeling and also the nice growth we have had in the last three months. Sitting here at a buck is a steal from where we are headed IMO.

I'm just not sure how a non-profit expriances growth... I know I phraised my question in sort of an arrogant a** way... so can you explain to me how you are planning on expirancing growth?

Let's Talk Recovery, Inc. Announces Joint Venture Agreement to Operate Recovery Facility

BEVERLY HILLS, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 31, 2006 -- Let's Talk Recovery, Inc. (Other OTC:LKRV.PK - News) announced today that the company has entered into a joint venture agreement to operate and manage the Laguna Beach Recovery Center, a unit of Laguna Beach Recovery, Inc.

Under the terms of the Joint Venture Agreement with Laguna Beach Recovery, Inc., LKRV shall manage the facility for three years, renewable annually thereafter. LKRV will provide a wide range of operational and managerial services such as: marketing the facility to the community, managing the operations of the facility, managing all employee and contractor relations, services and performance, engaging the services of a medical director and staff, and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations and codes.

The three-year Agreement, which commences on November 1st, provides for revenue, profit and business asset sharing between LKRV and Laguna Beach Recovery, Inc. Michael A. Mische, CEO & President of LKRV, had this to say, "LKRV is very excited by this joint venture with Laguna Beach Recovery, Inc. The Agreement represents another milestone accomplishment for LKRV and its shareholders as it marks our entrance into the facility management marketplace. We expect positive cash flow and an accretive effect on earnings per share sometime in the second quarter of 2007, pending licensing and permit approval."

Under the Agreement, LKRV will operate the facility using its proprietary treatment programs, which integrate industry proven methods into effective and customized treatment protocols for those suffering from addictions.

Hmmm. Another up day is hard to take.

It is up like 1000% since early September, who knows what that is caused by, but lets hope it is something real...

I HATE that there are no up to date financials for this company... if there are point me to them please...

Also I still fail to see how a non-profit is publically traded, or how it offers any growth possiability to investors... I'll look into that but if anyone ahs input on that let me know
