| Success is a State of Mind - - Tommy Bahama Profits always take care of themselves but losses never do. The speculator has to insure himself against considerable losses by taking their first small loss. - - Jesse Livermore The game of speculation is the most uniformly fascinating game in the world. But it is not a game for the stupid, the mentally lazy, the man of inferior emotional balance, nor for the get-rich-quick adventurer. They will die poor. - - Jesse Livermore |

One of the best quotes I have read in a long time! "God grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right even though I think it is hopeless." -- Chester Nimitz, U.S. Admiral "A people that values its priviledges above its principles soon loses both." -- Dwight Eisenhower, 34th U.S. President "I would rather fail in a cause that will ultimately triumph than to triumph in a cause that will ultimately fail." -- Woodrow Wilson, 28th U.S. President "Mistakes are the portals for discovery." --James Joyce, writer "There is no such thing as luck. It's a fancy name for being always at our duty and so sure to be ready when a good time comes." --Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton, British Statesman "If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do matters very much." -- Jackie Kennedy Onasis, First Lady "Luck is the byproduct of busting your fanny." --Don Sutton, baseball player |

check this one out guys... I think and I hope this will be encouraging for those of you shorting right now.. Here goes:
"The frequent rallies, even when I knew as well as anybody that they were due, could not frighten me. I knew I'd do much better in the end by staying pat than by trying to cover to put out a new short line at a higher price. By sticking to the position that I felt was right, I made over a million dollars. Knowledge is power, and power need not fear lies- even when the tape prints them."
