I can tell that this tape is full of emotions today and something doesn't feel right, once again, about this rally. This market is a huge pain in the a**.

Anyways. Surf is really big and I need to go try to learn how to surf. lol.

I will be back after the closing bell where I can tell what the market is doing. My day really starts when the markets close.

Yeah, here too. The surf has gotten rough as Hurricane Daniel is approaching the island. I think it is just a tropical depression now but at least we have clouds. Where I live in Lahaina (it never rains during the summer anyways) we have not had rain in four months.

I got to be a man today and use power tools. I got to cut tile for a bathroom that is being remodeled here at my complex and got to use the leaf blower to clean the parking garage. I am going to volunteer more often. I love power tools!!! It is about time I did some real work for once. It felt good. Don't think I haven't done real work before. For three summers between age of 13-15 I did landscaping work. And for three months at the age of 17 I worked at a factory. So this computer nerd can get dirty.

Can you tell I had fun?

Speaking of force of nature, come to Maui during the winter or O'ahu's north shore during the winter. You will see the true power of mother nature. That is if Hurricane Katrina and the tsunami in South Asia didn't convince you already.

I worked at a brickyard for a summer...tough work but you learn that getting paid for your brain not for your brawn.

Power tools are cool...blow torches are cool, I had to fix some outdoor plumbing.

I will be online at 1030pm EST to 130am EST. I promise I will answer all questions and reply to comments when I get back. I have had one wild fun day. I need to take a quick power nap and then I will be ready to go over the market.

BTW, I don't trust this rally either. Where was the volume. These days are meant to do one and only one thing: To wear out and discourage as many traders as possible. That will NEVER happen to me. I will be back later on to completely analyze this market. Great rally and nice job suckering in the shorts but I still don't trust you Mr. Market.

"That is if Hurricane Katrina and the tsunami in South Asia didn't convince you already"...the tsunami sure convinced me.  What kind of rain do you get in Maui?  Do you have a rainy season like we have here?

Those things are so much fun!

I don't think we were giving you a hard time for building a deck.

I know I was NEVER giving you a hard time for building a deck. If anything I am jealous that I do not have the natural skills to plan, draft, and then build a deck.

Phailin, we do get rain during the winter and during the winter it rains all the time up north. Also on the east side of Maui (Hana, Keanae) it always rains. That is our rain forest. I would say where I live in Lahaina, it is sunny 340 days out of 365 days a year. And it is never cold except during the winter at night during Dec-March.
