I am going to go surf for an hour...if there are no waves I will obviously be right back. But my gf has left for the mainland so besides surfing.....it is all stocks baby!!!! I should be on for the rest of the day after I get back. Shopping is done, everything is done. brb. |

I still don't have mine working on my laptop...I tried messing with it today....I am a complete idiot...next step is actually calling Netgear. I hope they can help. LOL. |

Ok...I may be able to help you...first do you have anything connected to your wireless router??? Like internet phone or your desktop??? If you do, disconnect the power, power only first before you do anything. Once you have disconnected all the other sources from your wireless router...not your cables just power cords, folllow the next steps
Shut down your laptop...disconnect your power from your wireless network...then disconnect the power to your cable modem. Wait 30 seconds, no less...I'm not kidding...Now, power up your cable modem. You more than likely have 3 lights...once all 3 of them are on it is time to fire up you wireless modem...once your wireless modem has its wireless light blinking...power up your laptop, do not power up anything else. Your laptop should then be able to connect...once you can it is ok to power back up everything else that is connected to the wireless router.
YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS!!!!!!!!!!
BTW if you only have two lights that is fine...so long as they are steady. |

If this doesn't work, call you cable provider service number...have them make sure you have service to your modem. If they have confirmed you do have service follow the above steps. |

Just got back from seeing Pursuit of Happyness. It was pretty good, but I was sorry there wasn't more about trading in it. It was a hard movie to watch because of all the bad stuff that happens to him, but very inspirational. |
