Enjoy yourself! I am afraid in this market you probably won't miss anything....with that said make the most out of your trip with your family.
Remember to stop and smell the roses...remember its never the destination but the Journey.
Enjoy... |

Hey Market, you'll have a complete family soon with the arrival of a baby boy. Cheers. You'll have not time to smell roses around. So do I. On holiday we are a couple of friends, my wife and my sun. I have learnt that it's better not to go on summer vacation only with the family if you'd like not to come back with the desire of another holiday. IMO. Looks like another distribution day. Boring. Ciao, stai bene e buona vita a te, Market. |

http://www.pandora.com is the best free music site on the internet Now I thought we could talk a little baseball I must vent for a minute about my beloved Boston Red Sox. Yesterday they chose not to trade their young arms in hopes of landing a big name player that will help them the rest of this season. Today, all I hear is "Theo messed up. We got no one. Yankees yankees yankees." Are these grumblings valid? NO!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!! As Theo said, The Boston Red Sox have a long term plan. They are in position right now to be the best pitching team in all of baseball for the next 3-5 years with a starting trio of Beckett, Papelbon, & Lester with Delcarmen & Hansen out in the pen. That could be the best 3 SPs on the same team since the Braves of the 1990s. (And for those of you who think Papelbon will remain a closer, he's just too valuable not to try and start. I'll take 200+ innings and 20 wins over 50 SVs) The Red Sox do not want to become the Yankees who are a team of overpaid ancient dinosaurs on the tail ends of their careers pretending to get along. Instead, the Red Sox have the opportunity to continue to develop their own farm system and be in position to contend consistently for many years. And plus, we still got Big Papi and quite frankly...that's all you need. |

“We have a long-term plan. As much as we desperately wanted to do something to help our big-league team, it would have been shortsighted to sacrifice that long-term plan in order to incrementally increase our chances this year. We were asked over and over again for a lot of our good young players — good young players at the major league level who are part of our long-term plan — and it just wasn’t worth it.”

Market, for all those fans you hear complaining about the Red Sox and the moves they didn't make, tell them to come to Pittsburgh, where we get to watch the worst franchise in professional sports. 14 straight losing seasons, with no hope in sight. At least training camp has started.
I don't follow baseball too much because of my home team, but a good friend is a die-hard Sox fan, so I wish you guys luck coming down the stretch. |

mac - I'll remind them of your pain!
Not sure how you could live in Pittsburgh and be a baseball fan. |

The Pirates should really turn around the organization b/c you guys have one of the best ballparks in all of baseball!
Are you more of a football fan than baseball? I am a diehard Boston sports fan in general with the exception of hockey. The fights are cool but I never got into the sport. |
