I guess it all depends on what you are looking for.

The game of speculation is the most uniformly fascinating game in the world. But it is not a game for the stupid, the mentally lazy, the man of inferior emotional balance, nor for the get-rich-quick adventurer. They will die poor.  - -  Jesse Livermore

For the cost of living to be as cheap as possible, internet connection, surf, women, and then how do they like Americans...these are the important criteria for me.

I can't surf waves that good on a day like today where each spot had 25 guys plus on it. Too crowded on Maui. I get too nervous and start thinking too much. When the waves are big and crowds are small I can handle this wave.

But, yes, she is a beauty.

yes costa rica is sweet but surf is pretty remote - i think u would go stir crazy and doubt hi-speef internet since they can barely keep the roads open to the coast areas where the good surf is when it rains but lots of americans live down there on the coast(Endless Summer movies brought  all the surfers down there).....or mexico - baja side for surf.....also, i hear good about Puerto Rico (i;ve never been though) and you are still in US territory w/ PR but i am not sure about surfing in PR ? personally  i love the florida keys but surf sucks in the keys...........ps- for cost, anything is cheaper than Hawaii

The cost is getting pretty ridiculous. Just knowing how much more money I could be saving is starting to really bother me, you know.

Honestly I put a rediclous amount of thought (By thought i mean day dreaming time) into this concept... when... and I say WHEN this site becomes self sustaining or better I would love to set up a head office in an actual "Investor's Paradise"...

I really loved dominian republic when i was there... but there are lots of good options... for me as long as I can sail im happy ...

That is a sick wave, believe it or not...thinking that is a 10-12 footer.  Only thing I am going on is the guy/gal that is on top of the wave.

No way would I even attempt that at all.  Maybe if I was 12 but not now...one thing I want my son to be able to do is to be able to swim before he walks...infant swim class...yes, they have em and I just think its a great idea considering I find myself always next to some body of water...

Alright kiddos...time for bed...

I got some big waves but didn't make any of the barrels today. Too much power.

I am way behind. I apologize. Understand I moved to Maui to surf these waves. I had to take advantage.

Josh, guys,
I'm incredible busy in this period of the year and I have to apologize if in the next days until september I'll be not so often on the board.
Too many things to do. Some works across Europe and a nice holiday to spend with my family in Corse (a french island closed to Sardegna) where I'm not so sure to find a good internet connection.
Anyway I have two books with me, "Reminiscences of  a Stock Operator"  and " How to make money in stocks”, definetely a good company. I’d like to read some lines also to my 5 years old son.

Well, I'll try to jump on the board sometimes from somewhere in Europe. The board is getting stroger and I'm happy with it.

Take care everybodies here.
Dan
