Very true Market Speculator...the rules remain the same. This industry has always been about industry types reccomending stocks when they're high and warning about them when they're low. The Terms and Condistions here: http://www.canslim.net/termsandconditions.htmThey're not dissimilar to any other outfit I've looked at....be prepared to lose money and don't rely on the information provided. |
| Come and join me in "THE SWAMP", the OTC swamp that is. Help me identify which stocks have the postential for BIG GAINS before the industry hacks start pumping and dumping them. DON'T GET SCAMMED, GET SMART!!!http://www.investorsparadise.com/c-Krill/ |

Quoted from krill
Further to our discussion of trading systems in general and Canslim in particular...I posted some thoughts to my blog just now. I checked canslim's Terms page...my concern with these outfits is that they're building a book. http://www.canslim.net/termsandconditions.htmAlways read the fine print.
Oh God. Will stop this. CANSLIM.net is different than CANSLIM. Oh my God. Krill, stop everything you are doing now on the research on cANLSIM and go get the book "how to make money in stocks" Do you know how this system was created? HISTORY. That is it. There is no other freaking motive. ONeil wanted to help everyone. I want this topic to be dead. Only a freaking idiot would think that this system has an "motive." Sheesh. Everyone has the same motive to make money in stocks. He did the same thing I did. He made a mess load of money and now wants to help other people make their dream too. |

Can someone please explain to krill why this is not a scam and that other people can create a site based on the CANSLIM system. What did I do here?
God, I am so sick of this conversation. I am done with it.
Read the books, krill. There is NO discussion. "how to make money in stocks" will answer all your questions. You help make this system work. You remind me of the interviewer with Darvas.

UARM: it is broken. It should be completely sold. The chart pattern that we had has been destroyed. Time to move on. 7% loss. |

I would post that in the quotes page but I feel it is appropriate to post it in here. |

just takes away the whining of the pink sheet CEOs their excuse for only down stock price was to blame it on naked shorts well now we will all see the truth that the decline in pink sheet stocks are due to ever increasing shares outstanding (insider nonstop selling) |

Yes sir. That is correct. But I thought people knew already that this was being done. I knew this about pink sheets back in the late 90s. The only way for a lot of these companies to get money is by offering shares that they owned. Which they KNEW were always going to be worthless. Not sure how some people can sleep at night scamming people like that.
Reminds me of the former CFO of worldcom? (I dont remember) the guy with the mansion in Florida. It was nice to read that he has NO more money. Can not pay back anything else. Crime NEVER pays in the long run. |

ironic thing is that i sold some of those "starter" companies stocks and guess who i sold to ? PROFESSIONAL MONEY MANAGERS, not general public..if i gave you tickers of some of the companies i raised money for you would laugh |

Ever notice how chart data at Stockcharts.com (and some other services such as Prophet.net) are different from other services? Apparently, StockCharts.com and Prophet.net both adjust their price data by the amount of dividend that a company pays. From my stand-point, they shouldn't do this as the stock price is automatically reduced by the amount of the dividend when that dividend is paid out (goes ex-div). Seems to me that their (further) reduction in the price accomplishes nothing more than "double-dipping" the dividend and therefore results in an incorrect chart.
I have since stopped using Prophet.net and Stockcharts.com for anything other than indices or issues I know right off the bat do not pay div's. I (for one anyway) do not like or agree with the logic of their "double-dipping."
Any other thoughts on this??? |

Yeah. That is stupid. I agree I wouldn't readjust the chart. This is why you can't use free quotes. YOU MUST SUBSCRIBE AND PAY FOR QUALITY SERVICES. Nothing good is free.
BTW, I am noticing a TON of gold stocks coming up on my scans. NOt the leaders but some small stocks.
Also I see some electronics stocks. That could be good.

General market observation...this market is crazy.
Longs don't work, short don't work way more than in a normal market...
BSML UARM ???? UARM sold all BSML sold half
PZZA CGX ???? PZZA never taken CGX covered all
What a bizarre market.
I am going for lunch. Will be back in one hour. |

Thanks Josh - and fwiw, I have noooo prob paying for services, but only those I have found worthwhile and have in turn been using for many years! And by the way, just in the interest of fairness, there there are a few free chart services that do provide what I'll call "correct data" such as marketwatch.com and bigcharts.com. They don't double dip the div's. (By the way, marketwatch.com pulls their data from bigcharts, so). And I like that SYKE - thx! |
