Has anyone here read the book "Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits" by Philip Fisher? I just finished the third O'Neil book and would like to move onto another with a slightly different strategy but along the same overall lines. Any feedback from readers?

Please don't attack me!!! I am still an avid IBD investor!!!

ORKiter what is your take on UARM now? Are you still 100% long or have you already sold a portion?

Further to our discussion of trading systems in general and Canslim in particular...I posted some thoughts to my blog just now.  I checked canslim's Terms page...my concern with these outfits is that they're building a book.

i never bought UARM becaue this last new high move was on lower volume that the prior 2 new highs so it looked tires to me and i have been stopped out on 3-4longs that i tried in the last couple months so  i didnt buy any......UARM isnt a cheap stock and expectation were high for earnings, that large volume distribution day after earnings was the time to get out b'c that was a top/major resistance ........Josh might differ from me but i would be completely out after today's action but would wait to see how it finishes today to see if it rallies at all by end of day (not a good sign that it isnt bouncing at all with todays rally)

Haven't read it yet.  May be one day.  His son Kenith Fisher is also a successful investor and has his own money manger firm, he is a regular writer for Forbes maganize for more than 10 years.  Kenith is a super BULL.

Krill you are fighting with history...as Josh said go back to 1950 and check all the best stocks from then to now...

Remember, the suckers change but the game does not.
