Does this really sound too good to be true?

Why don't you go out and buy "How to Make Money in Stocks."

Then let me know. If you want to believe it is too good to be true...then fine.

But just because the system ALWAYS works DOESNT mean you can make it work. YOU have to be able to implement the system. IF YOU cant then YOU fail. Not the system.

This is too good to be true. Please, give me a break.

What is too good to be true about history and facts? Do you know that the best 10 stocks every year going back to 1950 HAVE THE SAME CHARACTERISTICS.

Trust me I am not taking any offense. I am just stating facts and not random opinions about a system. You are giving opinions. I am giving facts.

But...to each his own.

Jesse Livermore
Gerald Loeb
William ONeil
Nicolas Darvas

have you heard of these people? Why don't you get some of the books on my book list then we can talk about this "fool proof" (no such damn thing) system.

I love how people make comments and statements on systems they have NEVER used.

Please, before anyone comments on how this "is too good to be true," just do your research on it.

Krill, do you ever read my blog? Have you seen my returns on individual stocks? Do you ever see how many stocks I am long in bull markets that are up 100% plus.

I need to let everyone who is sensitive to know this is exactly how EVERY pro responds to these statements. If it makes you feel more fuzzy, I am typing this with a smile on my face, like always.

RevShark talks the exact same way. And if you want a real treat sign up for http://www.tokyojoe.com for however long his subscription is. $200 a month. Rev is $500.

Do you know why they charge that much? Take a guess?

Listen, Josh shouldn't have to repeat himself...what we are doing here is bringing this system to life through this site...Josh has been at this...Take a look at his swing longs/shorts since the inception of his blog...take a look at when he cuts his losses...

This is invaluable information...INVALUABLE...and this isn't a get rich scheme...I've been at this since '01 and I AM NO WHERE NEAR RICH...I AM STILL 3-5 years out...

I am not sure how many times, but we've said on this forum that it takes years to get this down...not next week like your real estate scheme.

May be the dollar cost averaging is so popular because Warrent Buffet.  But you need to know how many people can sit on the board of company in order to know what really goes on.  Otherwise, just forget it.  I think that the most expensive "wisdom" is DCA.  The other one is that you will never get broken to take profit.

Josh, I notice that the only fund in AAII survey can beat CanSlim is Martin Zweig's fund ( the one wrote wining in wall street, http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ.....0680-3007168?ie=UTF8 ) performance in some years, do you know what method they are using ?

Talking about turtle, the trend follower system, not sure what type of system they are using, I read the book, it doesn't describe the system very much apart trend following.

I will post the actual Turtle Trading system...

Its quite complex...a lot of calculations to do.

Uses Donchian Channels and price volitility to calculate cut loss points...It can create lots of false buys in a trendless market like the one we have here.

Let me go in search of the system!

I have not heard of the turtle trading system in years. I read about it in the Market Wizards and in some other financial journal. But besides that I have not heard a lot about them.

Zweig uses a similar system. CANSLIM based.

You can actually combine the Turtle system with CAN SLIM Stocks...just replace the technical aspect of CAN SLIM and insert the turtle trading system...

http://www.tradingblox.com/originalturtles/system.htm

If anyone knows the story, well the original Turtles swore they wouldn't sell the system.  I believe sometime in the 90's one of the Original Turtles sold the system...so the others decided to give it away for free....

Just make sure to make the donation...I printed it out before they made it mandatory to make the donation...

I have to go find it somewhere...

But you can look up Donchian Channels throught the web...

I believe TradeStation has the ability to use Donchian Channels.

Maui, please don't take offense at my opinion...it's just that, an opinion.  The thing I like about IP as opposed to other sites is that we can differ without getting into combative langauge.

Come and join me in "THE SWAMP", the OTC swamp that is.  Help me identify which stocks have the postential for BIG GAINS before the industry hacks start pumping and dumping them.
