BRY: It would make a great short here, "IF" there was volume. There is no volume so there is no conviction to the selloff and risk/reward really doesn't line up.

RIG and GSF are going to be great shorts. RIG already is. DO is done too but there was no clear time to go short.

If you must go short BRY make sure you cut your loss with a close over the 200 dma.

Disclosure: I am short GSF.

RevShark just mentioned he went short GPRO and COST on realmoney.com

Both are rolling over. He seems to short low volume movers as long as they crack. I like both of his shorts. Don't know why he decided on these two but whatever.

FLR: I agree, AGAIN. I think three days ago was the best time. I should have revenged shorted it but I didn't and now am going to leave it alone.

MEK makes a crazy short here as you open yourself up to 30% (60% on margin) risk.

ANF no reason to go short yet. If you do cut loss with a close over 50 dma. However, this stock is still above support so it may not be ready yet. Still this is a great candidate. I am short ARO already and am up 16% (32%) on that one so this one could be next. Just make sure if you take it to cut your loss if it reverses. Don't ask questions, just stick to the plan.

Aloha, Nani!

Yeah. You should have heard the short yesterday in the chat transcripts I was reading in a couple of big stock chatrooms.

Today had to happen. This will throw many people off. Me I am happy. I hate shorting.

yep got you.......anyone on margin besides being crazy would be paying 10-10.5% right now for margin interest - i would be impressed with anyone returning that in this tape let alone beating that rate

margin interest, dividends, and reversals. There are so many reason why shorting is rough and not smart to do. However, I have had so many winners on the short side that I can't advise against it.

LOL. Butter. He He.
