I got LBIX, the parabolic gives buy, daily stockchastic is also buy. Somehow as you pointed out, it is streched. This also shows in weekly ADX.
I retake your jtx, looks form a bulish flag and bull back to the break out area in low volumn.
I had some long term position in China market since last year. In just one year, the market moved up 70%. Now it is in consolidation. Can you imgaine Bank of China IPO is worth 20% of total Shanghai indexes. Compared to US, it is just so cheap. Jim Roger ( the one featured in market wizard ), he was able to identify some mega trend and put a big bat on that. Recently he moved some money in China. Interestingly, he had a Chinese Nanny for his daughter so that she can learn Chinese. If you bet on commodity in 70s, move the money out to Japan in 80s, then move the money in US, then move the money in US real estate in 2000, then you are super rich. Looks at history, any given time there is a bubble, what is the potential bubble going forward, I am looking at the China, buy now and sell in 2008 ( Olympic ). |

LOL. ORKiter. I can't believe people take me so seriously. If anyone ever knew, met, or read about my mentor you would completely understand. TOKYOJOE. You want to meet a guy who tells it like it is. There you go. That Japanese ball whacking video was posted by Market Speculator. But you really should watch those Dirty Sanchez videos on YouTube. Those are the craziest mates you will ever see! Puts Wild Boyz and the Jackass crew to shame. |

we have some crazy momo players on this board .......i guess it all depends on what people's investment style because AKAM and LBIX ? yikes...LBIX is almost 200% above it 200dma moving avg ? crazy...both made huge runs (on weekly chart) and sure maybe go higher but also get drop 10% in a day with those charts ......good luck to initiating new positions but mkt is crap why play the odds when majority stocks go with the trend. unless your timeframe is week to week.....there are other CANSLIM stocks also breaking out today (ie- ALJ and AXE ) but in this tape why risk it.....ps- goto investors site and look up old articles about the studies IBD did re: sell rules and % of stocks that come back to moving avg when they are 50-100% above 50and 200dma - that will cause u to revaluate any buys like AKAM and LBIX especially in a down mkt - |

CLEC, ISYS, ZILG--thank you for those comments. That is the kind of stuff I learn more from. I like the new charts you post with your longs and shorts, so I can see what your software is showing you, but I miss the commentary like "breaking out of a 6 month base with heavy accumulation in the last 3 weeks". |

I will have that again. I am just overloaded with work right now and still need to have some time to stay in shape.
I really do have a fear of going through life alone so I want to make sure I sleep enough hours a day, get enough exercise, and I go out to everynight to a nice place for dinner. This along with maintaining my account, trying to get this started, and still having a part time job of 20 hours keeps me too busy sometimes to do all of that. But I promise I will do all of that and more later on. I plan on having a ton of feautures one day. I want to be as big as James DePorre (if you don't know him, research him) one day.
Like I said before, this is my O'hana. |

You are still there????

Oh yeah. I am very disciplined. I am on my laptop right now at this stupid place. But it is dead quiet. After this I might go to the gym and then I will be back online to update everything. |

Shades Of Hawaii 8-8 on Saturday and 4-8 Monday and Friday.
It is at the Westin Maui in Ka'anapali. I have it for medical, dental, and vision. This company has a great plan. The hours are cake and I am talking to you from the shop now. All the work I have gotten done tonight (blog, longs, managing my portfolio) has been done doing this job.
What are my sales tonight??? ZERO!!!! LOL. |

If I can get enough paid subscribers that I feel comfortable covering my medical expenses and it replaces this income I will quit and devote all my time to my website. It would be A LOT better. But I will need at least 60 subscribers at $30 a month to cover the income I earn here along with the $$$ amount I save on medical, dental, and vision bills. |

Josh, what do you think of ADM? I know it has not broken out yet, but it has good buildup assuming it can weather earnings tomorrow. |

I would wait for ADM to breakout above that May high. However, look at a weekly, you will see that there are more down weeks on above avg. volume than any up weeks. This is enough to make me skeptical of taking a long position. It needs a better base for me to trust. Once again, it doesn't look right.

About AKAM, it's a daytrading long for Tuesday only on any trade moving above 39.85. Set your stop out for 38.85 and if the stock moves up $1 take 1/2 your profits, moving the stop to breakeven at your entry point and let the rest ride to see how far the extended rally goes. It's not a buy and close your eyes hold at all.
BTU expaned through its 200dma on a day where the pph sold off moderately. That could be the first day of a momentum money rotation into Friday as the price increase was sector wide, we'll see if the volume picks up on an orb tomorrow morning.
As for pretty looking chart longs, at this point what you do is print out the 100's of good looking short charts popping up and tape them to the walls upside down. That gives me a warm fuzzy feeling about the market environment. |
