cgx too extended for my taste in this type of tape and i wish the base was cleaner, pretty choppy(wwekly looks better). i am up in the air on that one becasue the volume sure is nice in the flag portion so could work but this tape is so crappy i would have to have a tight stop at like $61....humm, now i am talking myself into it....ill sit on side and see what tomorrow brings

Just watch it and remember this pattern. If it works you will know to take the next one. In fact you are getting very good with your analysis. Notice how I always agree with you. I was just going to say cut your loss with a close below 60. So even you know where to cut the loss. You knew not to use the 50 dma. Very smart. Keep it up. I am going to poke if it closes strong. If it doesnt' I wont take it.

Just don't know what you're talking about.

PSPT can you be anymore confusing!? Why can't you form a proper base and breakout like a normal good stock would. What a freaking beautiful chart full of insane low volume pullbacks, short bases, and accumulation days that leave the bears in the dust. I might put on a 50 share trade with a cut loss below the most recent support on the daily. 7% cut loss.

WIBC would make a great long. All time new high on strong volume, it is a small bank stock which this group is going up in this market, and has good fundamentals.

I might not take it but if I dont, it doesn't mean you shouldn't.

Josh, if you have a chance can you take a look at PROS, FUR and SRP.  SRP hasn't broken out yet but looks like it wants to.

PROS: It isn't that bad but one thing that I really dont like is that this base is MUCH choppier than the last one. That is enough to have me avoid this one. Too choppy.

FUR: I already have been whipped once in June. I don't like the big red bar on the daily. I would rather see green all over this chart. Instead the biggest volume bar I see is red. That is enough to make this chart too ugly for me. If you go long cut your loss with a close below the 50 dma.

SRP: Being a utility and in a sector that is moving up in this down market, definitely keep your eye on it. It is a good stock and the weekly chart is very pretty. However, you are right; you must wait for the breakout. Don't gamble and jump in early.

How good does PSPT taste in my mouth right now...ha-ha!

Where are all my pretty charts with such a nice rally today? They all seem to be either breaking out of UGLY bases, need more work, or the volume is totally wrong in the pattern.

and following josh's comment, comes this from rev shark.........'ve been going through quite a few charts looking for potential buys and am not having much luck. There certainly are quite a few charts trading up, but I'm seeing many setups that need further work, and a lot of moves on low volume that are hard to trust. The strength on days like this does help build more positive charts, but it is process that will take some time.'

this is a dead in the water rally.  suckers rally.  make sure you people are on the other side of it.

Ok, I'll admit this chart does not look the greatest but what about PCCC ?  Is it too far from its 50 dma?
