Home Depot's former CEO (Bob Nardelli) resigned in Jan, 2007. Since the new CEO, Mr. Blake, has taken over, he has turned Home Depot back into a system where employees and managers have more decision power. Not only are the employees of Home Depot impressed with Blake's performace, but the shareholders are extremely confident that Blake can take the company to new record high's in revenue and overall performance.
I would personally look for Home Depot to make a decent move in share price this year. I wouldn't be surprised if it hits the $42.00 mark again by the end of the year.

HD will follow the housing market here...they may get one last gasp...as the 200dma is turning higher.

But the 50dma is in a downtrend, leads me to believe the housing market is leading HD down.

That's a good point MS. I suppose this one will only go as high as the industry allows it to. It's a shame because HD really does have an amazing organizational strucure. However, at the same time, I have heard a ton of horror stories where Home Depot contractors have screwed clients over.

No matter how great the company, there needs to be an appetite for it to be bought at a higher price.
