Just a side note for you. anytime it rains or there is wind it screws with your connection, but by far better than dial up! You should look into wireless through a cell plan or the new sprint air cards over satellite

What am I buying and watching? Find out at:

From my experience with satelite, you use dial up to upload your data while download your data thru satelite. Umm still not good as dsl or cable .but alot better than dial up

Sattelite-internet connection? How safe is it? I mean -- can there be a bug of some sort in your pc that the satellite can connect to you and zap you? Not sure I'm making any sense. was thinking about Motorola's IRIDIUM Satellite that was used during September 11, 2001 -- to guide the remote-controlled planes into the towers and also the cell phones used to target the Pentagon.
