This companys current ratio isnt that great = 0.75 (Current assets = 1,194,196 / Current Liabilities = 1,591,931) so as of right now it dosent have enough liquid cash to cover its curent bills.
Its growth is great. Last quarters profit was 60% higher than the one before.
Expenses are also growing rapidly.
i gtg ill comment more later |

I didnt say they couldnt cover their bills... I said they dont have enough liquid assets to cover them right now. (Compare current assest to current liabilities) I didnt say it was a bad company... i just said that their current ratio isnt great, which its not...
as i was saying before I had to go, their expenses have grown fairly repidly, but with further analysis a large portion of that is due to a $54,753,000 one time expense this quarter. Other expenses have actually gone down from the previsous quarter. |

The latest Comment on CHK
Skittishness" has driven natural gas prices down a lot, he said, but analysts believe a rise in prices should occur.
He said that this drop in prices has taken down stocks that are levered to the price of the commodity, and that the way to play the coming rise in natural gas prices is to buy shares of Chesapeake Energy (CHK:NYSE - commentary - research - Cramer's Take) now.
He said the company has great management and is making smart investments, but the stock has done nothing as of late. "Plant it now, harvest it in the fall," he said.
Cramer also said that we are in the beginning of a new product cycle when it comes to big-screen televisions, as Americans make the transition from traditional to high-definition TVs.
