I think somebody else started a GDVI thread. Anyway, SmallCap started another one. The company deserves attention. I visited GDVI in June (maybe July) this year and was impressed with the progress being made. The company is for real - as is obvious from the clip above, and is already marginally profitable. My personal feeling is the stock could reach a dollar in a three or four year span. The state of California has voted in billions of dollars for educational structures. If the company just gets the crumbs it will do well. |

Harriot, This is one of the few pennies that I have seen get turned around and show a net profit. The balance sheet looks good and GDVI appears to be on the way to bigger and better contracts and a great future. |

The stock price continues to go down. Didn't they have some kind of financing deal? Maybe that is why the stock is going down. Something just isn't right with this one. |

BC, The only problem with this company is it isn't fashionable. They're a startup, about three years old now, and the company has improved its bottom line each year, including expanding its facility and purchasing assets from failing companies. Investors are leary due to the failure of some companies in the construction business in past years. I'm not saying the company is without risk, but its in the right place at the right time. California Proposition 55 funds and recent Los Angeles bond issues have put billions of dollars in the budget for school construction. This money is just being put forth for bids. GDVI already has some of that funding under contract. The question is whether the company can expand profitably. So far it's held its own. I believe the company is under-rated and under-priced. I've visited the company and met Hamilton. There's nothing phony about it. It's an investment which, I believe, will work out well - but I'm also not counting chickens. |

Nobody seems interested in a stock that isn't "hot". In the next quarterly, GDVI should show the revenue for the $8M modular school building contract it is now completing and delivering. That's not bad quarterly revenue for a BB stock, which also has shown profitability for each of the past eight or nine quarters. Of course, one has to read this post and check the company out. It is currently .07 per share |
