I like gold myself, seeing how oil is already pretty high right now.

I of course like oil... but if you mean favorite to do well in the near future oil wouldn't be my pick...

i heard tech and biotech is coming back in play

I like silver and just a few of the reasons are noted:

1.  There has been a supply/demand shortage for 17 straight years & it is continuing

2.  In 1959 the US had over 2 billion ounces stockpiled and now have none.  The US started buying silver two years ago to satisfy the silver eagle that they put out each year.

3.  There are literally thousands of applications for silver in the industrial world.

4.  Industrialization in China alone will put added pressure on silver.

5.  The largest commodity short sale in US history is in the current silver paper market.

6.  Comex and world supply is at its lowest level in my memory of about 50 years.

These are a few reasons why silver is my favorite commodity but there are more.

I am not trying to be silly here; but the general population don't think of this and it could possibly be a very costly mistake if one does not do their own due diligence in any market that they are investing their hard earned dollars.

Compared to any community; I believe time is the most valuable and precious commodity and for a few simple good reasons. Once it is gone, you can never gain it back and there is no amount of money in the entire world that  can buy time back. So, time to me is worth more than any amount of money, gold or anything else that one can purchase for their hard earned dollars.

And that is "why" using the right knowledge is a very powerful school of education; it's the ignorance that can be a very costly mistake to those that choose to ignore.
