I'm not in it, and am not considering it....but it could be a decent trade.  If you're thinking long term these imo are some prudent questions:

They've just been featured at macreport.net.  Did HISC or any parties pay for the feature?

They've had 7 PRs already in May.  Is there anything of a material and financial impact being reported in any of the PRs?  I'm not talking generalities but of actual $$$ amounts.

I would hate to put words into anyone's keyboard, but I think popeye looked into this stock about a month ago and gave it a thumbs' up. (at another website)  I purchased some shares than, (as always not enough) based on what he said. Popeye, if I'm wrong about this I do apologize.

Counselor.  I bought HISC and posted the financial status and my outlook of the stock on April 28th.  It is a penny stock that is actually making a net profit.

From the 2-16-05 211 info statement:

Current assets----------------$1,020,003
Current liabilities--------------$240,471
Total assets-------------------$1,422,609
Total liabilities----------------$1,002,834

Net income for last year------$553,595

HISC is in a very strong current position but the balance sheet is a little weak.  This will be easily overcome  if they can continue in the black.

I think HISC is going to finish in the red tommorrow based on technicals.  Extremely overbought on RSI and Bollinger Bands.  Crossed over upper Bollinger band today and MACD showing an extreme buy with nowhere to go but down.  Candlesticks showing three white soldiers bullish reversal pattern, but the stock wasn't on a downtrend so there is no real reversal here.

Popeye, I'm trying to do some DD and have hit a bit of a wall.  I found nothing at pinksheets.com under HISC for SEC filings:

HISC -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems Inc.
Com (No Par)

We cannot locate SEC filings by symbol.
Try searching by company name:

Can you link where you're pulling the financial data?  Also links to share structure would be appreciated, authorized and outstanding.  TIA if you're able to find the data.

Lemon.  It could probably stand a breather.  HISC is up over 250% in three weeks.  But it looked to me like the momentum at the close was up.  Have a great evening.

I just came across this:

Clients of The MacReport.Net pay no more than three thousand dollars per month in cash and/or securities unless otherwise indicated. Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. is a current client.

http://www.macreport.net/transcripts/transcript.asp?symbol=HISC&Fcount=1&count=0

So the reason they were featured is because they paid to be featured I have to assume.

Krill.  Go to the web address that is in the prior post.  Then click on "investor relations" on the left.  Then click on "financial information" then on 211 information statement.

While they do not file with the SEC they must file with the IRS.

I forgot to mention that HISC is an unsolicited pink sheet stock so while the numbers look good as well as the press releases we need to watch it carefully.

New Disclosure Policy Effective February 15th for Issuers of Securities Quoted on an Unsolicited Basis

New York, NY (February 14, 2005) -- Pink Sheets has implemented a new policy for issuers of newly traded securities regarding the disclosure of adequate current information to the investing public. While Pink Sheets encourages all issuers to make this information available to the public, it is only required of those companies which have securities quoted on an Unsolicited basis on the Pink Sheets and that have never been listed on an exchange or quoted on the OTCBB.

If an issuer is quoted on an unsolicited basis, this means that the NASD has not cleared a market maker to enter a quote in the security pursuant to SEC Rule 15c2-11. Instead, a broker is relying on an exemption to the rule in order to display a quotation representing an unsolicited customer order. This exception has been used to trade securities of new issuers without any disclosure to the investing public. To address this situation, in October 2004, Pink Sheets revised our policy for brokers entering unsolicited quotes in a new security that has never been listed on an exchange or quoted on the OTCBB. We now require that prior to publication of an unsolicited quote in the Pink Sheets for such securities; the broker must ascertain that the issuer has made adequate current information publicly available on http://www.pinksheets.com. The information disclosure policy has been very successful at creating transparency of the basic information that investors trading in public markets deserve.

Pink Sheets is now extending the information disclosure policy to the issuers of securities in which unsolicited quotes were entered into the Pink Sheets prior to October 2004. Companies whose securities meet these criteria are required to make adequate current information available to the public by February 15, 2005. After that date, if the required disclosure has not been made, Pink Sheets will remove the display of quotations in the stock from http://www.pinksheets.com until such time as the required information is made available to the public according to Pink Sheets guidelines (see below). We believe that Pink Sheets should not be used to make quotations for an issuer’s securities publicly available unless adequate current information is available to the public regarding the issuer and its securities. We will also publish a warning to investors on the quote page of non-compliant issuers on http://www.pinksheets.com advising them of the risks of investing in securities of issuers that have never made adequate current information available to the public.

Notification of this new policy was sent in January directly to the companies that are required to comply. You can identify whether a security is quoted on an Unsolicited basis on the Pink Sheets by entering the trading symbol and viewing the “Quote” page. On that page, under the trading symbol and company name, it should say “Primary Venue: Pink Sheets”. Then, if the security is quoted on an unsolicited basis, directly underneath you will see the following: “Quote Status: Unsolicited.” If “Quote Status: Unsolicited” is not displayed, then this disclosure requirement and the February 15th compliance deadline do not apply to the issuer.

I just checked and that is what I got also.  I have been there on at least three occasions and that did not happen.  The 211 information statement has the balance sheet, income statement  as well as other information in there.  It was up earlier today.  Maybe we will be able to get in tomorrow.
