i would probably put movies on it...i was on the website and couldn't really see much about the compatibility aspect of the flyboy and thought personally that it would be useless without computer friendly software.
as far as the company goes i find it to be a very intriguing company and is trading at a good price (for me)

i was also curious if anybody had any perspective on the signicance of the trade show in taiwan (i believe) at the end of the month?

I am a computer engineer and design/repair computers for a living. I know alot of what technology is out, the flyboy hooks up to the pc most likely through a usb 2.0 port. Which 100% fo the computers built within 4-5 yrs ago either have usb 1.0 or usb 2.0 ports

Usb 2.0 ports are back works comptabile with usb 1.0. You would upload movies from your pc onto the flyboy through this port. Theres software out I am sure they will include to rip dvd's into media player format.

If you need help with technology questions or computer problems just pm me or post again.

My mom owns a computer parts distribution company and she is leaving tomorrow for Taiwan to participate in the Comutex show.  I was at Computex in Taiwan three years ago, I think.

As to the significance of this news...  Computex is a pretty interesting place, and a huge show.  It pretty much fills an entire convention center, and takes place over four or five days.  There are hundreds of companies that take part.

I wouldn't place too much significance on the PR stating that the 4000 will be featured by two companies there.  There are, literally, hundreds of booths, most of them featuring computer parts and peripherals.  The show is primarily focused around vendors and distributors.  It is definitely a good thing that they are actively trying to get their name out there, but having a product at the show is hardly breaking news.

Hopefully a number of distributors will see opportunity in VDWB's products and seek to add them to their product line.  It would help sales immensely, i think, because distributors would take the initiative to push the products onto their customers, the retailers.  While major chains would deal directly with VDWB, numerous unknown electronics stores offering the company's products would no doubt help the bottom line.  In all, I'm not overly impressed but am not displeased at this PR; I feel it's just something to keep the activity going.  (low volume since price has been dropping).

Gimpy,

Welcome to IP.  I hope we can learn from each other and make a lot of money in the process  As for VDWB, word is there are 10+ deals lined up for this baby including big shots (possibly) such as Walmart, Best Buy, and Circuit City.  There is also rumors of a $10-20 million investor in Europe who wants in.  They are holding back announcements until they get relisted on the OTCBB which should happen whenever they get their 10K in.  Investors are rumored to be waiting on OTCBB relisting as well.  If you are not familiar with the Ice Man, he is a major holder of this stock looking to buy more (Over 200,000 shares).  Good luck to you.

If you are new or just haven't taken a look at VDWB yet.....I think you really should. I know I've posted this before, but I wanted to post it again because it is all still 100% relavent and there are many new members to this site that might not be familiar with this stock. I think it would be very advantageous to give this company a look. Please at least put VDWB on your radar.

VDWB- This stock has been acting just absolutely terrible lately, but that is all about to change because they are just about to get back on the OTCBB. That has been the word for quite some time now, but it will finally happen within the next few weeks, and then VDWB will fly. Funds are lined up who are ready to invest in this company, but they aren't able to do so until VDWB gets back on the OTCBB. Remember that I definitely think this is an investment. Yes I know it is a pink sheet stock right now, but I believe this is that 1 in a million pink sheet stocks that actually become successful. I believe that VDWB will be a very successful investment. Rumor has it that they have secured a lot of very large deals, but are waiting to announce the deals until they return to the OTCBB, which should be within the next week or two. That way, the news will be received more well-accepted and the PPS will appreciate appropriately. Funds cannot buy until they get off the pinks either. Remember that $20 million investment coming from England that I talked about in one of those previous posts??? Remember how huge that will be for this company when it takes place? Well I have reason to believe that this deal is done and will be announced soon after VDWB gets back on the OTCBB. I have reason to believe that there is some other big money being invested in this company as well; I’m talking big huge names that you all have heard of. I know a lot of people that are in-the-know with VDWB and they are all confirming the same information. Let me recap a few things I've stated in the past about VDWB. There are SMART PEOPLE around this company. There has been some immense buying of VDWB stock by many individuals who are loading up before they get back on the OTCBB because when they do, the floodgates of deals they have been holding back are going to be set free. They also have a guy from Microsoft working with the company. They should release news of getting a deal with Radio Shack soon as well. Also, I have been told that VDWB may even be getting their "Flyboy" in Walmart and/or Best Buy stores sometime after the product is shipped out within the next month or so! I don't even think I need to tell anyone how big of a deal that would be. That would also make sense from what I heard about a two months ago that VDWB had a deal with someone that would blow my mind away. It couldn't be said over the phone who the deal was with, but I was told it was unbelievably big. Also note that I've recently been told that the MediaReady 5000 may actually be their flagship product. That may or may not happen, but about ten others deals are coming as far as I know. Anyways, check out their products because they will blow you away. VDWB is in direct competition with Microsoft and Sony...yes direct competition. There are room for companies like VDWB to compete, and besides......VDWB's products are better and different. Check them out. Sony’s P2P for instance, is primarily a gaming device. You have to buy extra things to get it to play video or hold digital pictures. Yes I still believe VDWB will be at $2.00 shortly (next 30-60 days) and I still believe that VDWB will be a $8-$12 stock by the end of the year. Once they get back on the OTCBB, there is a European investor that is investing in the company at the equivalent of about $1.30 a share. That is going to be a big push for the stock as well. And until the current situation changes, I have no other reason to believe that VDWB won’t be a $8-$12 stock by the end of the year.

I agree VDWB has potential...I'm in about 2000 shares at an average of 68 cents.  As tempting as it is to buy more at these lower levels, however, I feel like everyone's in the same boat waiting for some volume, movement, and OTCBB status before doing more.

I might kick myself later for not buying in...but that's the game we have to play.
Ironically, my short term gains have been dominated by my long term buys (MOT at under 15, MSFT at under 24)

Here's to some movement on VDWB soon!

correct me if i am wrong but didn't one of the press release mention that VDWB was to be feature products at the convention center in taiwan?
if so for a potential investor would one suggest buying in before the 31st? kind of a dumb question

I would reccommend buying when some strength returns to VDWB. A good place to buy in my opinion would be when VDWB goes $.61-$.62 bid
